The Panthers are self-priming rotary vane pumps with cast iron pump bodies for diesel transfer only.  They are fitted with internal, 100 micron filters, which are easily accessible for cleaning.  In addition, they have internal by-pass valves, which protect the pump (for up to 2 minutes) from pressure caused by a closed nozzle. They have steel shafts, which are fitted with mechanical seals and have TEFV IP55 motors fitted with on/off switches and power leads are supplied.  Maximum liquid temperature is 50ºC. It should not be run dry, so an initial priming of diesel is necessary. Maximum suction lift, with a foot valve, is 3 metres, however without one, 2 metres, or less, is recommended.  As an optional extra they can be supplied with pumping kits, that comprises a manual nozzle*, hose fittings, strainer and 5 metres of rubber/PVC hose that can be cut to the required suction and discharge length. They should not be run dry, so they should always have an initial priming of diesel. They MUST NOT pump water, petrol, high viscosity liquids, chemicals, solvents or products with a low flash point. They are supplied fitted to a simple base plate with carrying handle, however, for ultimate ease of handling and added protection, a full frame is a worthy investment as an optional extra. The BP3000 is a low voltage (D.C.) self-priming pump with a bypass valve and cast iron pump body. It is designed for diesel and biodiesel use only. It has a steel shaft, which is fitted with a lip seal. The IP55 motor, which has a duty cycle of 30 minutes, is supplied with a 2 metre battery cable, crocodile clips, a line fuse and a rocker switch. The pump has a carrying handle and it is mounted on a base plate. Recommended suction lift is 3 metres, however with a foot valve, 5 metres is possible. Maximum permissible liquid temperature is 50ºC. It is supplied with a pumping kit, comprising of a manual nozzle*, hose fittings, strainer and 4 metres of rubber/PVC hose that can be cut to required suction and discharge length. In addition to making the pump and kit truly portable, it is designed to protect them from dust, sand and dirt during use and storage to prevent contamination of fuel. It also functions as a bund by containing residue from the nozzle and hoses, hence protecting the environment. The BP3000 BOX (basic) includes the BP3000 kit while the BP3000 BOX (pro) includes this plus a fuel filter, a spare cartridge and a pair of rubber gloves.
