The KS booster sets are single pump, self-priming units with plastic bodies, venturis and single impellers. The KS1101/22 incorporates a 24 litre steel tank, which contains a non-toxic rubber diaphragm, and has a pressure gauge, adjustable pressure switch and non-return valve. It has a stainless steel shaft, fitted with single mechanical seal, and has an A.C., TEFV, IP44 motor and a power lead is fitted. The pumps are designed for pumping clean water only at a maximum temperature of 50ºC, and should not be allowed to run dry. Maximum recommended suction lift, when primed, is 7 metres. For best results, we recommend that a foot-valve and strainer should be fitted to the end of the suction hose. This is included with our 4 metre and 7 metre suction kits. These are available as an optional extra and include a pump coupling which is factory fitted to the hose for a vital, airtight connection. Used largely in households for boosting poor water pressure, and for providing water at pressure for mobile toilet block or shower systems, irrigation or wash-down.
