The CAM automatic boosters are single pump, self-priming units with 304 stainless steel bodies plastic venturis and impellers. They incorporate 25 litre 304 stainless steel tanks, which contain non-toxic rubber diaphragms, and have pressure gauges, adjustable pressure switches and non-return valves. They have stainless steel shafts which are fitted with single mechanical seals and have TEFV, IP44 motors, but neither power leads nor switches are supplied. They are designed for pumping clean water only at a maximum temperature of 35ºC, and they should not be allowed to run dry. Maximum recommended suction lift, when primed, is 7 metres. For best results, we recommend that a foot-valve and strainer should be fitted to the end of the suction hose. This is included with our 4 metre and 7 metre suction kits. These are available as an optional extra and include a pump coupling which is factory fitted to the hose for a vital, airtight connection.
